Mike is an experienced basketball coach who has been coaching on every level. He uses interpersonal and influential skills both on and off the court to encourage student-athletes to always perform at the highest level. He is skilled at developing and keeping budgets, fundraising and carries an extensive of experience with recruiting, scouting, team and private coaching, group and individual training, and league and camp coordination. A standout on the court during his time with William Jessup University (formerly San Jose Christian College), Allen helped lead the Warriors to three NBCAA National Championships. Individually, Allen was named an All-American three times and MVP in a collegiate career that saw him score over 2,500 points and bring down over 700 rebounds. Mike is also an experienced college and professional player and basketball entrepreneur.
When Mike is not with the team or recruiting the future of our program, he enjoys Traveling with Family, Reading, Running, Crossfit, Lifting Weights, Feeding Homeless, Helping Out at Church, Mentoring High School-College-Professional Athletes and Training Players.
Isaiah Mendiola
Coach Isaiah Mendiola is a dedicated basketball coach and trainer with Mike Allen Sports, committed to developing youth athletes both on and off the court. With a passion for teaching the fundamentals of the game, Coach Mendiola emphasizes skill development, basketball IQ, and character-building. His coaching philosophy centers on hard work, discipline, and teamwork, helping young athletes maximize their potential.
Through Mike Allen Sports, Coach Mendiola provides elite training, mentorship, and leadership development, preparing players for success at all levels. Whether in individual training sessions or team environments, he fosters a culture of growth, confidence, and resilience in every athlete he works with.
Luis Plascencia
Coach Luis is a dedicated basketball coach and mentor who has been shaping young athletes for the past twelve years through Ballin Ambassadors Travel Basketball Club and the Junior Warriors League with Mike Allen Sports. His coaching philosophy centers on pushing each player to reach their full potential—even when they don’t see it in themselves.
Driven by a passion for making a positive impact, Coach Luis uses basketball as a tool to develop character, discipline, and confidence in his players. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, emphasizing Sports Management, and a minor in Business. With his education and experience, Coach Luis continues to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed for success on and off the court.
Will Hawley
Coach Will is a former B3 Ambassadors player who has transformed his passion for basketball from playing to coaching. Since 7th grade, he has been involved in mentoring young athletes, starting as a volunteer coach’s helper and working with 2nd and 3rd graders during his middle school years.
Coach Will has earned his coaching license and certification, qualifying him to train younger players and assist with older athletes under Coach Mike’s direction. His experience as both a player and coach has led him to take on larger roles, including coaching Travel Basketball teams, running camps, clinics, and training sessions across various age groups—even working with adult players.
Traveling across the state, Coach Will is dedicated to teaching the game at a higher level, helping players refine their skills and mindset. His mission is to challenge and inspire athletes to achieve their dreams, both on and off the court.
Coach Will’s words: “I love this game so much and hope to keep growing on and off the court to challenge and inspire players to achieve great heights and achieve their dreams.”
Lira ndifon
Originally from Cameroon, Coach Lira Ndifon has made a name for herself both as a player and a coach. She played at Foothill College and Sonoma State, where she became known as an active and athletic guard with a strong scoring ability in transition and half-court play. A skilled ball handler and playmaker, she thrives on setting up her teammates and competing at a high level. Her accomplishments include earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors, attending the Sophomore Showcase (JUCO – 2017), and serving as a Training & Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at De Anza College (2017-18).
Beyond her playing career, Coach Lira is passionate about giving back to the community. She has been actively involved in coaching and mentoring young athletes through Nike Basketball Camps and the Junior Warriors Basketball League, helping to develop the next generation of players. With her expertise, leadership, and love for the game, she continues to inspire and shape young athletes both on and off the court.
